Aguora Hills, CA (November 09, 2004) – ClickN’ KIDS announces today that the Rockport Public Schools, in Rockport, Massachusetts has chosen ClickN’ READ for use in all First Grade and Multi-Age classrooms. This new program has been made possible by Rockport PTO funding.

The Rockport School Community includes parents, students, teachers, support staff, volunteers, and all who share a commitment to public education. Rockport Elementary School serves 431 children in grades K-5 with 21 classes including 4 full-day kindergartens, and two multiage classes which contain first and second grade students.

Technology instruction is accomplished through regularly scheduled technology classes and a cart of wireless iBooks, referred to as the COW (Computers on Wheels) Cart.  The librarian, technology teacher, and classroom teachers frequently collaborate to provide the integration of technology and research into the classroom curriculum. The technology teacher systematically provides support for the ongoing immersion of technology into daily student learning.

ClickN READ was selected for use in the Elementary School as an integral part of our continued commitment to the integration of technology into the classroom curriculum,” said Cheryl Sullivan, Rockport Elementary School’s Integration Technology Specialist. “ClickN Read consistently reinforces the school’s reading instruction strategies and goals, and is an effective complement to the Fundations reading program used by the classroom teachers. We have also been impressed by the reliable tech support and the company’s commitment to providing a user friendly environment designed for optimal student learning.”
